Peer Review Week 2019 – Blog Posts
Call to action: we need you!
Peer Review Week 2019 is now just around the corner. It runs from 16 – 20 September 2019, with activities taking place online, on social media and at events across the globe.
This year’s theme of “Quality in peer review” will celebrate all initiatives aimed at improving peer review quality, and the peer review process. We want to hear everyone’s perspectives on quality in peer review, from early career researchers to senior academics, authors, reviewers, editors, medical charities, policymakers, funders, publishers and citizens.
Tell us why quality in peer review is important
We invite you to share your views on quality in peer review in the form of a short video. We have created simple guidelines — no high-tech equipment needed! — and a list of suggested questions for you or anyone else who might want to be involved, here: http://bit.ly/prw19videotips.
To help you organize your own event during Peer Review Week, we have created a handy toolkit here: http://bit.ly/2HxxoLc. Whether you want to run a workshop, seminar, or networking social event, we hope you’ll use our suite of resources to help with your planning and promotion. And don’t forget, if you are organizing an event, let us know so we can help you promote it — email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Follow us on Twitter (@PeerRevWeek) for regular news and updates, and join the conversation with the hashtags #PeerRevWk19 and #QualityInPeerReview
